RSS Reader

RSS Reader or RDF Site Summary is a program to read RSS and Atom news feed. RSS Reader collect news in the background at user configurable intervals and warn with a little pop up in the system tray that there is a new message arrived. You can click the news headline to see a short description of the news and click or open the original news web page in a RssReader browser or default browser window. RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for syndicating news. Many news and web log sites support RSS by adding these pictograms as Image of Insolvensi RSS to their web pages, as MdI website does. Rss Reader support RSS versions 0.9x, 1.0 and 2.0 and Atom 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3.

First Time Installation Instructions

Step 1

If you have never run Rss Reader before, not running Windows 2003 or the latest Windows XP version and never installed the free Microsoft.NET framework, you first need to download and install it. The easiest way is to run Windows Update or otherwise visit Microsoft How to Get the .NET Framework 1.1

Step 2

Download RssReader 1.0.88.0 as: rssreader.zip or as rssreader.exe.

Step 3 - Install RssReader

If you have download the .zip version then unzip the file (using for example WinZip) and run setup.exe; and If you have download the .exe version, please run this file.

Step 4:

Look for this icon Image of Insolvensi RSS or RSS Feed pictogram in Main Page of MdI website. Place the mouse arrow on one of the above pictogram (in the website you found) and right-click, then choose "Copy Shortcut". Start RssReader and go to add (+) channel/feed and paste the url then finally press OK.
