PRIVACY
The e-Insolvency Mobile Application (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”), is an application developed for the general public (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) to facilitate access to online services offered by the Malaysian Insolvency Department (MdI) to users using smartphones. This application can be downloaded on Google Play Store, Huawei AppGalerry, Apple App Store and also Gamma. The Government ensures that the personal information collected is in line with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709).
PERSONAL INFORMATION
This application will not record the user’s personal data except with permission and given voluntarily by the user. This information is not shared with other organizations for other purposes unless specifically stated.
INFORMATION COLLECTED
a. This application collects data submitted with the consent of the user and done voluntarily through the registration process, Individual Bankruptcy Status Search, Company Winding-up Search, Monthly Installment Payment and also Petitioner’s Deposit Payment during access to the application system.
b. The personal data collected is as follows;

c. Personal data collected will not be used for any purposes other than those mentioned above.
d. Personal data collected will not be disclosed to any third party or transferred to a place outside Malaysia for commercial purposes.
EFFECTS IF PERSONAL DATA IS NOT AUTHORIZED
If the personal data provided is insufficient or unsatisfactory, then the user’s application or request for any of the above purposes is not accepted or taken action or the use of the service offered by the Application may be rejected or affected.
CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY BASIS
If this privacy policy is amended, the amendment will be updated on this page.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Personal data collected by the Application will be kept confidential in accordance with this Privacy Policy in accordance with any applicable laws that may be in force from time to time.
DATA SAFETY
The application implements security features that comply with global standards to protect the confidentiality and security of user information.
